
Elizabeth Flanagan
Liz has over 15 years experience of visual arts publicity campaigns & strategic communications with an in-depth knowledge of both the public and commercial art sectors, working both in-house at major institutions such as the Whitechapel Gallery and bluechip commercial gallery, Haunch of Venison. She also formerly acted as a freelance consultant to a wide variety of clients from across the cultural sector including TATE, Phaidon Press, The Foundling Museum, Newlyn Art Gallery and Science Gallery, London.
Over four years at Flint Culture, Liz has been strategic lead on multiple media campaigns resulting in national and international press coverage, advised and implemented communications and brand strategies, developed complex stakeholder management and engagement plans and overseen a range of high profile corporate, VIP and press events. Heading up the visual arts team and working with clients from across the heritage and arts sector including four national pavilions at the Venice Art Biennale, New Contemporaries exhibition programme, Museum of the Home’s capital campaign, the ICA’s programme and corporate communications, commercial galleries Pipppy Houldsworth and UNIT London.
