Since early 2019, Flint Culture has worked with jewellery artist and innovator Wallace Chan on a retained basis to promote and consult across a multitude of exhibitions, fair’s and book launches. 

Flint has worked closely with Wallace Chan on several iterations of TEFAF Maastricht, alongside promoting his book Winged Beauty (2021), which included organising a lecture with Melanie Grant and reception at The British Museum.

More recently, Flint Culture’s campaign for Chan’s acclaimed September 2023 exhibition, The Wheel of Time, at Christie’s London headquarter, the largest display of his half-a-century art practices to date, included a highly successful press trip and private viewing with the artist. Flint Culture was able to secure coverage with a reach of 16 million, whilst expanding Wallace Chan’s media presence in the Middle East. 

Mr Chan has launched 3 different exhibitions during the Venice Biennale, “TITANS: A dialogue between materials, space and time” (2021), “TOTEM”(2023), and “Transcendence”(2024). Flint has orchestrated two large-scale international press trips to mark the opening of his exhibitions in 2022 and 2024, the most recent of which totalled 45 members of press, spanning across international arts media.

Additionally, Flint has worked on several activations in London. In 2022 Flint organised a film screening and Q&A for his short film, Wallace Chan: The Art of Materials, at Regent Street Cinema, in tandem with heading up the media campaign for his sculptural exhibition TITANS: A dialogue between materials, space and time, at One Canada Square. Flint worked across a multitude of areas, including event planning, advertising, VIP and press preview delivery.
