Northern Ballet share dance digitally with the release of new film EGO
This evening sees the launch of EGO, an original dance film co-directed by choreographer and Northern Ballet’s Artistic Director of Digital Kenneth Tindall and filmmaker Dan Lowenstein.

EGO stars two of Northern Ballet’s leading dancers Antoinette Brooks-Daw and Kevin Poeung in collaboration with two guest artists: breakdancer and Founder of TrashDollys Sam Amos, and krump dancer Jonadette Carpio who recently featured in the film Cats.

Fusing contemporary ballet with street dance styles, the film supports the company’s creation of work which pushes the boundaries of traditional ballet and redefines the artform’s relevance to contemporary audiences.

EGO will be available to watch for free at northernballet.com/digitaldance from 7 pm, Friday 27 March.
