Perrier sponsorship developed for Mamut Art Project
To help mark the 10th anniversary of Istanbul’s Mamut Art Project contemporary art event, Flint Culture’s Istanbul team secured a high-profile brand partnership with Perrier.
The iconic 160 year old French natural mineral water brand is well known for its creative collaborations and for a commitment to supporting contemporary art, creativity and culture. As part of a retained strategic communications brief, Flint Culture’s Istanbul team, led by Regional Director Funda Küçükyılmaz, engaged Perrier as the official beverage partner for the latest edition of the Mamut Art Project exhibition.
Under the partnership Perrier received brand exposure on both offline and online platforms of Mamut Art Project, as well as promoting the event through its social media account and freshening up the visitors with their colourful signature mocktails.
Seren Kohen, Founding director of Mamut Art Project commented “We are delighted to have Perrier as one of the sponsors of Mamut Art Project for its 10th anniversary edition. It is great to have this opportunity to partner with such an iconic brand with over 150-year history which is globally known by its collaborations with acclaimed talents and organisations from the arts and culture scene. I hope that Mamut and Perrier continue to grow this partnership, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to support art and creativity.”
Perrier commented “Mamut Art Project is an acclaimed contemporary art event of Turkey which has been constantly growing for the last ten years with a success in providing an innovative platform for independent talents across different disciplines to exhibit their art works. As a brand with a history of investing in creativity, we thought the mission and accomplishments of Mamut would be a perfect match for Perrier Turkey, and hoped to enhance Mamut’s aim to increase accessibility of art.”
Flint Culture has directed communications for the critically-acclaimed Turkish contemporary art event for the last seven editions, servicing a brand development and audience engagement brief through an integrated operational remit encompassing media relations, marketing advisory and promotional partnerships. In each edition Mamut attracts around 20,000 visitors and receives more than 1,000 applications from Turkey and abroad.
In its 10th edition, 85% of the onsite exhibited artworks were sold and the media campaign managed by Flint Culture on behalf of Mamut secured more than 125 items of coverage with more than 10m reach and around 2m estimated advertising value equivalent. Since its first edition, Mamut Art Project’s main motivation has been to provide emerging artists a professional platform that offers worthwhile networking opportunities, visibility and effective business coaching in order to help them develop their career in the art market.
Sponsored by Ege Yapı, Mamut’s 10th anniversary edition featured an expanded programme with an expansive selection of works presented by 49 independent and interdisciplinary artists that is still available to visit online at mamutartproject.com.
