Love Ssega launches Our World (Fight for Air) campaign as part of Season for Change
oday sees the launch of ‘Our World (Fight for Air)’, a campaign by artist and musician Love Ssega, in memory of Ella Ella Adoo-Kissi-Debrah, a nine-year-old girl who died as a result of pollution.
“I wasn’t hearing Black people’s opinions on climate change in the news, so I made a song about air pollution that’s killing.” Love Ssega
The campaign is part of the national arts programme Season for Change – a UK-wide cultural programme inspiring urgent and inclusive action on climate change. Workshops, performances, exhibitions, talks, and film screenings will take place across the country from April-July 2021, ahead of COP26, the UN’s climate negotiations hosted by the UK this November.
Led by Artsadmin and Julie’s Bicycle, and supported by Arts Council England and Paul Hamlyn Foundation, Season for Change is the UK’s most ambitious cultural movement focused on climate action and climate justice.
