Independent publisher SP Books publish manuscript of Truman Capote’s In Cold Blood for the very first time
Independent publisher SP Books has released a deluxe edition of Truman Capote’s In Cold Blood, a unique assemblage of Truman Capote’s notebooks and papers preserved at the Library of Congress (Washington DC) and at the NYPL (New York), for the very first time.
The collection follows the four-part chronological structure, providing an extraordinary insight into Truman Capote’s writing and investigation, including never-before-seen working notes and sketches. Highlights include hypotheses on the crime motive, plans of the Clutter property, notes on the trial and crime scene, and all accompanied by drawings.
The edition also includes an insightful foreword written by Ebs Burnough, author and director of The Capote Tapes (2021).
