Flint Culture Scotland and Greenpeace join the debate at the UN Climate Change Convention
We were honoured to have the opportunity to work with Greenpeace on the installation of a large-scale sculpture from artist collective Still/Moving at the recent 2021 UN Climate Change Convention in Glasgow.
70m long, 7m high, comprising 3,723 LEDs and sited at Govan’s A-listed Graving Docks, NO NEW WORLDS was switched on remotely by members of Minga Indigena and First Minister Nicola Sturgeon at a ceremonial event ahead of the COP26 summit, presenting a powerful and thought-provoking statement to the COP26 delegates and participating international media.
Our London office worked in close collaboration with our Scotland team to manage media relations around the artwork and the artists. A short-lead press campaign comprised a photo-call, international media engagement, a programme of onsite and studio interviews news, feature and review editorial and the development of dedicated broadcast packages.
