Artscapy launches fine art marketplace
Artscapy, a new digital platform for fine art collecting, has officially launched its collector to collector marketplace that ensures each consigned artwork undergoes due diligence to facilitate one of the most secure and trustworthy digital spaces to buy and sell art.
Entrepreneurs and experienced art collectors, Alessandro De Stasio and Emilia De Stasio founded Artscapy to democratise access to fine art. The company officially launched in December 2021 after raising £1,000,000 following two rounds of investments and has now more than doubled its projected value. Built by collectors, for collectors, Artscapy provides a complete set of services to meet every collector’s needs, based on the observations and problems the founders themselves faced in their decade-long collector journey so far. The platform is augmented with analytics and charting tools to provide collectors with insights into the value of their collection and its evolution over time.
Through the marketplace, Artscapy aims to create a trusted, safe environment to explore and buy quality art. They have established a due diligence process for every artwork that will go on sale, and are offering certificates of authenticity on blockchain to create an immutable record of provenance on primary sales.
