
Artists and cultural organisations invited to join call to action to fight the climate crisis
The founding frontman and songwriter of Clean Bandit, Love Sssega has released a new track to launch Season for Change’s Open Programme, a call to action for the cultural sector to fight the climate crisis, which runs from 25 February to July 2021.
Season for Change is a UK-wide cultural programme inspiring urgent and inclusive action on climate change led by Artsadmin and Julie’s Bicycle and supported by Arts Council England and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation. The Open Programme invites all artists and cultural organisations to host events, artworks and activations across the UK that inspire urgent and inclusive action on climate change.
Love Sssega’s track, “Keep Going (Just Change the World)” touches on subjects including political leadership, loss of travel rights of musicians due to Brexit and fake news alongside a rally cry for change. The artist who is a passionate climate change activist is working on a commission as part of the Season’s Common Ground artist scheme as well as supporting the founding trustee of EarthPercent, Brian Eno, advocating for change within the industry.
