Nadim Karam showcase to coincide with Beirut Art Fair

Nadim Karam opens up his private studio for a survey exhibition of his multi-disciplinary career, in parallel with Beirut Art Fair.

Shorthand: Nadim Karam, Notes from the Archive is an exploration of the rich
symbolism and visual vocabulary developed over four decades of Karam’s multidisciplinary
practice, which comprises drawing, painting, performance art, and monumental public
Sculptures. The exhibition is curated by Rachel Dedman, newly-appointed V&A Curator of Contemporary Art from the Middle East.

It is the first show at the artist’s purpose-built studio, A.MUSE.UM, conceived and designed by Nadim Karam and Atelier Hapsitus, the collective of Lebanese artists, architects, designers and curators he founded in 1996.
