Flint briefed on 3-year communications strategy for Sheikh Zayed Book Award

The Sheikh Zayed Book Award is an independent cultural initiative administered by the Department of Culture & Tourism in Abu Dhabi. The awards recognise the highest achievements of innovators and thinkers in literature, the arts and humanities, and honor intellectuals, researchers and authors who have made significant contributions to modern-day literature, social sciences, humanities and culture across the Arab World.

The awards themselves take place in April each year, in conjunction with the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, and offer prizes in 9 key categories, including Arabic Culture in Other Languages, Cultural Personality of the Year, Translation and Publishing & Technology. The Sheikh Zayed Book Award have also developed an international programme of activity, with panel discussions, talks and networking taking place at book fairs and independent literary events in London, Frankfurt, New York and Moscow.

Submissions for the 2020 Awards closed in October 2019 and the shortlists will be announced in February 2020
