Odunpazarı Modern Museum, Eskişehir, Turkey

September 2019 saw the opening of OMM – Odunpazarı Modern Museum, a major new art museum founded by art collector Erol Tabanca and designed by Kengo Kuma and Associates in Eskişehir, north west Turkey.

With a focus on the UK, US, Europe, the Middle East and Japan, Flint’s international communications campaign set out to promote the global significance of the collection, position OMM as a major new development within the arts landscape and affirm Eskişehir as a must-visit cultural destination for national and international visitors.

Flint’s national and international media campaign delivered over 700 items of press coverage in over 20 countries, with highlights including the Financial Times, Wallpaper*, Dezeen, ArtAsiaPacific, Architectural Digest, Vogue Turkey and CNN Turkey.

Flint also managed a number of national and international press trips that saw more than 60 members of the press gain exclusive access to the museum ahead of the public opening, ranging from architecture and arts specialists to travel and lifestyle.

Press and VIPs from all over the world attended the launch celebrations via a special OMM shuttle train from Istanbul to Eskişehir, which saw performances and installations take place against the backdrop of the striking new museum.
