Kurhotel Skodsborg is one of the leading Scandinavian spa hotels situated on the outskirts of Copenhagen.

In January 2017, Flint’s travel and tourism consultant Caroline Blake was appointed to launch the newly refurbished Kurhotel Skodsborg to the UK press through a strategic media relations programme.

To date 74 pieces of coverage have been secured, with a reach of 490.5 million and a Advertising Value Equivalent of £429k.

Coverage highlights include the Conde Nast Traveller Spa Guide, the Financial Times, The Times, The Sunday Times, Guardian, Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday’s YOU Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, London Evening Standard, Forbes, Metro, Country & Town House and CITY A.M.

In 2018 Kurhotel Skodsborg won two of the most prestigious spa awards: a Tatler Spa Award for ‘best natural high’ and a Conde Nast Traveller Spa Guide Award for ‘best for a reboot’

Over the past three years Caroline’s team has hosted over 40 press and influencers on a series of group and individual trips. Most recently, they organised a Global Influencer Event for Unilever at the hotel. To mark the launch of the toothpaste Zendium, the agency organised a three-day retreat for 15 of the world’s top health and wellbeing influencers – plus senior members of the Unilever team – spanning nine countries, each with an individual following of over 100k.
