The Kathmandu Triennale 2017

Flint Asia was engaged to promote the first edition of the Kathmandu Triennale, an international art festival in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The 2017 edition delivered 17 days of public exhibitions and a talks programme featuring specialist speakers from around the world. Flint Asia’s campaign was focused on producing top level, discerning media coverage to convey the high quality of the festival and the significance of its location in the aftermath of the 2015 earthquake.

Operating as an off-site festival press office with a wide-ranging operational remit, Flint secured a total of 30 press articles across national and international newspapers, magazines and online platforms in just two weeks. Highlights included features about Festival Director Sangeeta Thapa and Festival Curator Phillipe Van Cauteren of S.M.A.K., as well as features in Blouin Artinfo, Artnet News and India Today about participating artists and the festival’s programme.

Coverage secured across print, magazines and online platforms created over 40,840,749 opportunities to view during the two week-long campaign.
