The Consulate General of the Netherlands

Flint was engaged by The Consulate General of the Netherlands in Istanbul, to promote the two-day programme titled “Ongoing Connections” that aimed to ensure the continuity of Holland’s current cooperation activities in culture and arts in Turkey. Flint’s remit also comprised promoting and enhancing the highlight event of the programme titled “Speed Dating” within selected media.

“Speed Dating” brought together more than 150 international culture and arts professionals from different cities of Turkey and beyond. The purpose of this event was to strengthen existing connections, to foster future collaborations and to provide an opportunity to establish new ties. Flint invited targeted press members and managed an impactful media campaign to promote the event and the image of The Consulate General of the Netherlands in Istanbul. Flint secured 7 high-value press exposure across a range of prestigious publications including Bone Mag, Cumhuriyet, Artfulliving, ArtUnlimited and Artkolik.

In addition to managing media relations, Flint also helped the client engage with selected journalists to introduce “Speed Dating” activity and further explain Holland’s cultural strategy. Flint secured the attendance of 6 journalists at the event and arranged a Q&A session with the spokespeople.
