Account Executive

We seek an ambitious and proactive Account Executive to join our London team. The role requires a highly organised team player with excellent attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills. This role is instrumental to the Flint Culture and sits at the centre of campaigns across the arts, culture and heritage sectors, including but not limited to commercial galleries, museums, art and book fairs and public institutions. Account Director

London

We seek an Account Director with a passion for the arts and enthusiasm for all things cultural. You will lead the delivery of a portfolio of accounts, ensuring that campaigns are delivered with exceptional service. You will also work collaboratively with the senior team to contribute toward business development in the London office.

Our ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple clients and delivering brilliant campaign results with strong communication and relationship management skills. You will have access to a strong media network, having already established contacts in the press within the UK and internationally. We are looking for a team player who is highly organised and motivated, with a proven track record when it comes to training, guiding and motivating a team made up of managers and executives.

Flint Culture x  IGNITE

Flint Culture is an award-winning communications consultancy that specialises in the cultural and creative industries. We are proud to work with a diverse range of clients and deliver campaigns worldwide through offices in the UK and Middle East, supported by an international network of regional associates.

From strategic planning and creative direction, to the implementation of press and social media campaigns, our clients include public organisations, private businesses, and government agencies.

We are looking for an individual to join Flint Culture’s IGNITE internship programme based in our Farringdon office, London. The scheme provides a platform for those who are passionate about arts, culture and heritage, to gain a wide range of experience and insight into the workings of an integrated communications consultancy. 

You will learn all about the PR and communications industry and how to deliver successful campaigns through research, writing and administrative tasks. Key responsibilities will include: drafting press releases, pitches and social media copy, preparing client briefing documents, monitoring media, journalist and influencers research, and reporting on active campaigns. 

 You will have the opportunity for hands-on learning, working on live projects, alongside our incredible team of communications professionals.

For this internship, a keen interest in books and/or the publishing industry is essential, as we are looking for the successful candidate to support literary projects. Any foreign language capability (particularly Spanish, Italian & Arabic) would be of interest.

  • Full-time internship (6 months) 
  • The placement will run from – 8 January to 8 August 2024
  • There may be the opportunity for a more permanent role. Several interns have gone on to permanent roles within Flint Culture
  • Paid – London living wage

  • This role will involve a hybrid working model: 3 days (Mon-Wed) in the office, 2 days working remotely

The interview process

If successful, you will be asked to attend a short interview, via video call. The interview is not there to assess your prior experience! We want to learn more about you and give you the chance to showcase yourself and any projects or interests you have.
