This October, staged in Paris during Art Basel Paris week, the Cabinet Office, Government of Japan, will host a series of exclusive programme of events celebrating The Japan SUI Collection in Paris at the Ambassador’s Residence and the Palais de Chaillot. Flint Culture is pleased to be working alongside Dentsu in a consultancy capacity, supporting invitations and guest list curation as well as media relations strategy.
The Japan SUI Collection, an initiative of The Cabinet Office, Government of Japan, brings together carefully curated outstanding artisanal creations from across the country, each embodying “SUI”–the essence of Japan’s unique aesthetic sensibility, showcasing distinctive Japanese craftsmanship in a variety of forms.
The evening, curated by Mari Hashimoto, is also expected to feature a special performance by an internationally renowned Japanese avant-garde dancer and works will be illuminated through an evocative light art installation by acclaimed lighting designers and producers who will transform the exhibition space and reveal the pieces through light, shadow and atmosphere. Further details will be announced soon.
The Flint Culture team will be on the ground in Paris to oversee guests and media management.
