For the past six months, Flint Culture’s creative studio has been working closely with Riyadh Art on their annual Tuwaiq Sculpture Symposium. The cultural event invites 30 artists from across the globe to live sculpt large-scale granite sculptures, which are then shown in a public, open-air exhibition with the final goal of relocating them across the capital.
The 2025 edition of Tuwaiq Sculpture marked Flint Culture’s second year of working on the event. With an expanded scope we created the refreshed visual identity, designed numerous marketing materials including the exhibition’s tents, facades and flags, as well as the welcome pack, tote bags and 200pp exhibition catalogue.
From a production perspective, our team of 15 camera operators produced both social media optimised content in the form of POV reels and single-shot assets, as well as more directed video, including photography assets used at the event’s gala party and associated campaign.
Highlights included interviewing the 30 artists in their native languages, which included Arabic, English, Chinese, Russian, French, Spanish, Japanese and German, as well as covering Ambassadorial engagements and numerous top level VIPs and royalty.
In addition to the event coverage style work, we also documented the artists’ time in Riyadh more socially, including trips to a local souk, sand dunes and several notable museums.
During the 35 days of coverage, Flint Studio’s team produced photos and videos, amassing 7.5Tb of media assets.
