This October, Flint Culture celebrated its recognition as a Silver Winner at the MUSE Awards 2024 for the Design Space AlUla Launch social media campaign. The MUSE Awards are globally acclaimed for honouring outstanding achievements in creative and digital media.
Flint Culture’s campaign announced the public opening of Design Space AlUla in February 2024, the first permanent gallery dedicated to design in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. Delivered as part of an integrated campaign between our in-house PR and digital teams, Flint Culture launched Instagram and LinkedIn channels for the space to promote the inaugural exhibition and opening symposium, bridging the gap between the remote desert location of the space and worldwide audiences.
Throughout the campaign, the team developed and shared over 150 tailored social media pieces in both English and Arabic. Dynamic audio-visual content offered behind-the-scenes insights and encouraged engagement with the space and opening events.
By facilitating digital collaborations with exhibition participants, symposium speakers, and local tourism bodies, the campaign targeted professional networks of designers, architects, and urban planners. Strategic tactics such as geotags and hashtags also helped extend content reach to local communities and international tourists interested in AlUla.
The social media campaign reached over 140,000 people and gained more than 2,300 followers in just over a month, focusing on both Saudi Arabia and international design hubs. This award-winning effort helped showcase the region’s design story and supported the continued growth of the industry recognition for Design Space AlUla in the months to come.
