PJ Harvey & Don Paterson to headline Poetry & Lyrics Festival 2017 at Kings Place

Flint is pleased to announce the 2017 line-up of the annual Poetry & Lyrics Festival at Kings Place.

This year’s headliners include Mercury Prize winner PJ Harvey, accomplished poet and  jazz musician Don Paterson, and compelling poet-performer Murray Lachlan Young.

Taking place over 9th – 10th June, the second edition of the annual festival will celebrate the interplay of poetry, literature, music and song through history and in contemporary culture. It offers a blend of voices, from poets and spoken-word artists to talented proponents of folk, roots and experimental music.

9th June will be the first time that PJ Harvey and Don Paterson have shared a stage. Long-time admirers of one another’s work, they will come together for a night of readings and conversation, hosted by BBC Radio 4 Front Row’s John Wilson.

Poetry & Lyrics is curated and produced by Poet in the City.
